I have added some new teacher resources to the link on the right of the page including a MAP resource. Check it out! World Maths Day is upon us! The JASON Project is a non-profit subsidiary of the National Geographic Society that is free to teachers and provides free materials to them for their students in the area of science. Go to www.jason.org to learn more. This website has safety tips and videos for kindergarten through high school, teachers, and parents. Go to www.footnote.com to see original docs from the colornial era through the mid 1900s. This will also be posted in the social studies link to the right. How can we (teachers and parents) keep kids safe on the internet? The internet offers so many good tools for us to use in our daily lives from keeping an online calendar to chatting with friends. But it also can be harmful to your child or student if others are not using it in a positive manner. Check out the Cyber Safety link to the right. I’ve added another great website that you can work through with your child or students on how to keep them safe on the internet. Just added a couple of new science links. Check out the science link on the right. I found a really good website that works on many fundamental skills that students need to know. It is in Cross Curriculuar Links and it is called Educational Games, Worksheets,…. or click on this link. This website provides many ways for students to create projects online for free.
